Interested in Becoming a Board Member?
We are thrilled at your interest in becoming a board member! Being a board member can be both an enriching experience and broaden your skills for a resume or for future endeavours.
As a Governance Board, the Haven House Board of Directors is responsible for hiring, evaluating and compensating the Executive Director; ensuring Haven House has the funds which which to operate; and, advancing the mission of the organization. The Board meets every other month which allows board committees to meet on the off months. Board members serve on at least one Committee with all Board members serving on the Fundraising Committee.

Are you interested in becoming a volunteer?
Haven House has a wide range of volunteer work, including thrift store assistance, prevention, and shelter assistance.
We hope to educate and assist the community through volunteer work as much as possible. Thank you for considering Haven House as the place you would like to volunteer!
Volunteer work may or may not be available depending on the time of year and the work someone is interested in being exposed to.
What would you like to do with your volunteer time? How many hours are you available per week? Are you looking at an extended period time or a short interval? What kind of skills do you offer our organization? We look forward to hearing from you!
