Haven House offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities for both individuals and groups. We truly appreciate the people who support our organization through your gifts of time and talent and we strive to find the best fit for your experience, schedule, and skill set.

Interested in Becoming a Board Member?

We are thrilled at your interest in becoming a board member! Being a board member can be both an enriching experience and broaden your skills for a resume or for future endeavours.

As a Governance Board, the Haven House Board of Directors is responsible for hiring, evaluating and compensating the Executive Director; ensuring Haven House has the funds which which to operate; and, advancing the mission of the organization. The Board meets every other month which allows board committees to meet on the off months. Board members serve on at least one Committee with all Board members serving on the Fundraising Committee.

We rely heavily on the community to assist our shelter residents needs to thrive in their difficult time of transition.
