Nearly 30 years ago, a group of caring individuals who valued a safe community began a grassroots effort to develop a community women's
shelter. Three decades later, Haven House continues to provide the community with a shelter, as well as a number of other family oriented services. While we have
grown tremendously over the years, our focus has remained the same: to protect and support victims and survivors of domestic violence and
sexual assault. We have added a number of programs that support and promote healthy families, as we believe this to be a large part of prevention.
